Learn how to draw and interpret cards, what textual sources can be relied on, how to choose a deck, and the history of tarot. The approach shared will not be straightforward divination but will lean into the spiritually transformative opportunities available through performing cartomancy. You will have an opportunity to read for others in the group using provided Rider-Waite-Smith tarot decks. I will be available for supervision and feedback on readings. If a lot of experienced tarot readers come to the event I will modify the experience to be a mutual knowledge share. This circle is fluid—the goal is not exclusively formal instruction but a collective discussion and investigation using each person’s intelligence to better understand and connect with magical practices as a whole. *** The event is in part a fundraiser for The Radical Reading Room (https://theradicalreadingroom.org) the free to enter third space where we will be meeting.
