We want to share our experiences of our study abroad in Ghana engaging in Transnational Feminist Solidarity work. This event will include a catered, allergy-aware lunch, Afrobeat dance, discussions of our different projects, sharing of our experiences in Ghana, a live Q&A, and discussions with a surprise Ghanaian poet. Please come with an open mind and a willingness to learn. We hope that this work will not only recontextualize the work on the African continent and the experiences that we have going in as American individuals. We are hoping that this work will either be videotaped or live-streamed so that we can share it with our friends in Ghana.
