Welcome to HENCH TANK, where henchmen (and supervillains) pitch their evil schemes to a board of investors and beg for funding.
Do you have a dastardly plan to take over the world? Steal the moon? Defeat your arch nemesis? Take the Krabby Patty secret formula?
We are looking to fund your next evil venture.
HENCH TANK is a live pitch competition where henchmen (and supervillains… and maybe heroes looking to have a bad boy era) present their schemes to a board of investors and ask for money. Any fandom. DC, Marvel, anime, manga, Disney, Nickelodeon, whatever you're loyal to. If your universe has a villain, that villain has a funding gap.
You get 30 to 90 seconds. Then the judges give a Q&A
Treat it like a real pitch, because it is one. What's the scheme, what does the money do, and what's the return. Show us the ROI on stealing the moon. Slides and props strongly encouraged.
Expect:
1. business models that constitute several felonies
2. products that should not exist
3. founder energy with zero hesitation
4. at least one person who did not break character all night
