2nd Annual Silver Fox Lock-In
The haters and losers said we couldn't do it. Then we shocked the world.
Three and a half years after the first annual Silver Fox Lock-In, we’re making the pilgrimage back to the den for round 2 of the 20 hour challenge to shut these chumps up. Doors open at 6am, and we're staying til they drag us out kicking and screaming at 2am. To complete the challenge, you cannot exit the bar at any time.
To kill the time, we'll be playing pool and darts, shooting the sh*t and mixing it up with the regulars, playing card games, and general tomfoolery or horseplay but not both at the same time please. You can bring your own board games too.
The t-shirts this year are $27 a pop after shipping, they’re shown in the photo album. There are mens shirts and crop tees for the ladies if you prefer that. When you RSVP, it'll prompt you to Venmo me the money - please include the T shirt size and style you would like either in the payment or via text @ 512-657-0311. This will allow me to bulk order and reduce the cost significantly. I'll then make sure you get your shirt before Dec 6th. You can (and should) buy a shirt & RSVP even if you're not planning to do the full 20 hours, as they are a renowned collectible item in the greater PB area.
For food, they will let us bring in anything from outside. We'll probably do a group order for lunch of pizzas or sandwiches, but breakfast is a free-for-all so either eat beforehand or get something delivered. They have a taco stand in the smoking lounge at night for dinner. You are free to do whatever you'd like for any meal however.
Rules as stated by the owner of the bar, Julie, are the following:
1. No sleeping, you out
2. No vomiting, you out
3. No drugs, you out
4. Get cutoff, you out
5. 2 meals minimum, may bring in food from home, or delivery. You may eat where you wish!
6. No gambling, even for drinks (super illegal). Games are welcomed and encouraged!
7. We are calling this a “20 hour challenge lockdown“, but I have to state that you are doing at your own free volition.
It’s an open event, so feel free to forward to friends! We’ll be there at 5:45 to ensure we’re in by 6, don’t be late!
