In 2025, a record-breaking number of Americans reported wanting to move abroad permanently (40% women, 19% men), and the U.S. experienced its first net negative migration since the 1930s.
Throughout 2026, Mary Beth Snodgrass, the founder and Managing Director of the PAC, has traveled abroad in Portugal, Spain and Morocco, exploring life as a 'senior' digital nomad.
Previously, Mary Beth traveled to dozens of countries in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe and lived in Spain for a year.
Taking cues from the audience on what topics to cover, Mary Beth will lead a Q&A and share research on why so many people and women want to leave the U.S. along with tips and tactics for months-long travels.
