Rock your Block with us! This event is free and open to all.
The Emerging New Urbanists (ENU) and the Arts & Market Neighborhood District will host a community walk and bike audit followed by a neighborhood block party in Bentonville with music, food, and drinks! This collaborative event is designed to bring residents, local organizations, businesses, and community leaders together to explore how Bentonville's streets, sidewalks, and public spaces can better support walking, biking, and neighborhood life.
The event will begin with guided walking and bicycling audits (BYOBike or walking shoes!) that identify existing strengths, highlight safety and accessibility concerns, and gather community feedback on opportunities for improvement. Participants will then return to the Meteor Bentonville for a community celebration featuring free pizza, drinks, live music, and a block-party atmosphere. Interactive maps and feedback stations will allow attendees to share ideas, identify priority issues, and brainstorm low-cost projects that could enhance the neighborhood.
By combining a hands-on audit with a welcoming community gathering, the event aims to make civic engagement accessible, fun, and inclusive while generating actionable ideas for improving walkability, bikeability, and public spaces in Bentonville. No expertise needed, this event is open to all! We want to hear from you!
Event generously made possible by an Arkansas Moves Communtiy and Mobility Grant.
