My Ritual of Becoming A solo exhibition exploring art, transformation, friendship, creative collaboration, and the people who shaped my twenty years in New York. For twenty years, I wandered through New York and across the world, collecting fragments of beauty, memory, history, and dreams. Through photography, performance, kimono, color, and transformation, I became both the storyteller and the story itself. This exhibition is a love letter to New York and to all the people who made it my home, while marking the beginning of a new chapter in Japan. My Ritual of Becoming 里内正恵 個展 アート、変容、人との出会い、創造的なコラボレーション—— 20年間のニューヨークで育まれたすべてをひとつの空間に集めた展覧会です。 20年にわたりニューヨーク、そして世界を旅しながら、私は美しさ、記憶、歴史、そして夢のかけらを集めてきました。 写真、パフォーマンス、着物、色彩、そして身体表現を通して、物語を紡ぐ人であると同時に、その物語そのものとなっていきました。 本展では、写真作品、パフォーマンスアーカイブ、ドキュメンタリー映像、オリジナルコスチューム、ヘッドピース、インスタレーションを通して、その軌跡をご覧いただきます。 ニューヨークという街と、私を支えてくださったすべての方々への感謝を込めて。そして、日本から始まる新たな創作への第一歩として、この展示をお届けします。 皆さまにお会いできることを心より楽しみにしております。
