Join us on Thursday November 13 in celebration of the gallery by portrait photographer Gabriela Gabrielaa. Me Veo a Través de Ti is part of Gabriela Gabrielaa’s ongoing global street portrait series—a visual exploration of human connection across cultures, languages, and borders.
This collection was created during Gabriela’s journey through Nepal, where she photographed people in temples, marketplaces, mountains, and sacred spaces. Through her lens, Gabriela captures the quiet power of human presence—portraits that reflect not only their subjects, but also a mirror of the artist herself.
Though language barriers existed, a silent understanding emerged. Gabriela felt deeply connected to the people she encountered—their warmth, spirituality, and resilience. This work is a meditation on empathy, identity, and the universal desire to be seen and understood.
“I saw myself in strangers,” Gabriela says. “Each face held a piece of my own story. This is not just a portrait of others—it’s a portrait of how we see ourselves through each other.”
