Join us on Thursday night for a party and reading celebrating the launch of "Emergency: A Zine" and welcoming attendees of the International David Foster Wallace Conference 2026. 

What is this zine? It's a collaborative leftist publication about the emergency we all find ourselves in NOW (and it's available now!  https://www.amazon.com/Emergency-zine-Hannah-Smart/dp/B0H2LDX976/). It was organized and edited by novelist Hannah Smart and features poems, stories, and comics from writers all over the internet. 

Hannah, August, and Steff will read some new work, cover artist Chris Ayers will talk about his contribution to the project, and we'll even have a few of the zine contributors present their work remotely. Probably on my TV. 

Light snacks and drinks will be provided, but feel free to bring something to share! Feel free to park anywhere on the street nearby.
