San Francisco Muslim Community Center (SFMCC) – Ramadan 2026 Wednesday Series The San Francisco Muslim Community Center (SFMCC) will host four Wednesday evening Ramadan gatherings at the African American Art & Culture Complex on February 25, March 4, March 11, and March 18, 2026, from 5:00–8:30 p.m., with exit by 9:00 p.m. The structure of the evenings will shift slightly over the course of the month due to changing sunset and prayer times. On February 25 and March 4, the program will include sunset prayer (Maghrib), a shared halal meal (iftar), evening prayer (Isha), and a shortened Taraweeh prayer, which is a special extended congregational prayer performed during Ramadan nights. On March 11 and March 18, the gathering will include Maghrib and iftar onsite, with Isha prayer concluding elsewhere later in the evening as prayer times extend later into the night. One of the evenings (March 11) may also include a brief educational segment in collaboration with Believers Bailout, a volunteer-run national nonprofit that raises zakat and charitable funds to assist Muslims in pretrial and immigration detention. These gatherings are family-friendly, volunteer-led, and open to the broader community.
