CELEBRATE YOUR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS & HELP KEEP NABIHA OPEN! 🎙️ Howdy Freedom Fighters, If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the nonstop flood of bad news lately… you’re not alone. Maybe you’ve been grieving what’s happening in Gaza, Sudan, Iran, or Ukraine. Maybe you’ve been angry about Epstein, ICE harassment, or what’s happening nationally and here in DC. Maybe you’ve been fighting for reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, police reform, climate action, or other causes that feel like they’re getting buried. Whatever it is — if it’s been keeping you up at night… Come Speak Up about it. ⸻ SPEAK UP! A safe, supportive space to speak, sing, read, perform, or share art about the causes you care about — and invite others into action with you. No pressure to be “polished.” You can be messy, heartfelt, funny, furious, gentle — whatever you need. ⸻ FUNDRAISER FOR NABIHA This is also a fundraiser for Nabiha Palestinian Mezze, a family-owned restaurant that opened in 2024 and has become a sanctuary for DC’s Latino-Arab community and friends.
