Yuma Hackathon – AZ Tech Week 2026 Yuma County is officially part of AZ Tech Week 2026, and we’re bringing an interactive, hands-on tech experience to the desert 🌵💻 The Yuma Hackathon is a beginner-friendly, community-driven event focused on IT, cybersecurity, and information security. Participants will take part in Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges, problem-solving exercises, and real-world tech scenarios designed to give you a practical glimpse into what working in cybersecurity and IT actually looks like. In addition to the hands-on competition, the event will feature a Career Panel & Q&A with local IT, cybersecurity, and information security professionals. This interactive discussion will give attendees the opportunity to ask questions about breaking into the field, certifications, career pathways, day-to-day responsibilities, and the future of tech right here in Yuma County. This event is open to students, career changers, and working professionals — no advanced experience required. Whether you’re just getting curious about tech or already building your career, this is a chance to sharpen your skills, collaborate with others, and grow your local network. Our goal is simple: spotlight Yuma County as a growing tech community — one filled with talent, opportunity, and forward momentum. Come learn. Compete. Connect.
