April EastBay Permaculture Guild Potluck: "How to Plan a Community Work Party" + Mini-Grant Opportunity! 🎉🌱🛠️ Happy April! This month, we're not just talking about planning community events, we're putting those plans into action! Join us for our monthly gathering focused on "How to Plan a Community Work Party," and discover how to create impactful permablitz* events in your own space that leave participants feeling fulfilled and connected. *a collective action day guided by permaculture principles Exciting Mini-Grant Opportunity! We're thrilled to announce that we're offering $200 mini-grants to support your work party visions! At the April meeting, we'll be sharing details about how to apply for the grants for your work party. Do you have a project in mind? A garden to build, a space to transform, or a skill to share? Come workshop your ideas with us and let us help you bring your vision to life! You might even find some co-conspirators! Special Guest Speaker: Ildiko Polony We're honored to welcome Ildiko Polony, Executive Director of Sutro Stewards, who will join our panel discussion. Ildiko brings her passion for habitat restoration and community building, having transformed her career from climate activism to native plant advocacy after discovering the vibrant ecosystem in her San Francisco backyard.
