On Friday, September 26th, Angel City Lumber and Stranger Furniture will co-host a special one-day exhibition at Angel City Lumber as part of the second annual LA Design Weekend.
1903 Lager donated by Craftsman Brewing.
The show will feature a collection of furniture and objects made by a select group of LA-based woodworkers and designers. Each piece will be made primarily of wood sourced from Los Angeles County trees, honoring the city’s urban and forest landscapes.
Proceeds from the show will support My Tribe Rise, a grassroots organization based in Altadena that is supporting under-resourced Altadena residents impacted by the Eaton Fire.

The event will also showcase Angel City Lumber’s Urban and Forest Flooring—featuring Ponderosa Pine and Jeffrey Pine from the Angeles National Forest, as well as Coast Live Oak and Blue Gum Eucalyptus from urban landscapes. Matching treads, risers, and base mouldings complete the collection, as well as prefinish options, offering seamless design continuity.
