Join us for a relaxed day floating or paddling down the Russian River! We’ll meet at Steelhead Beach Parking Lot at 9:00 AM on August 9. We’ll start with a casual beach picnic while waiting for everyone to arrive. We will start floating at 10:30AM so please plan to arrive accordingly. No +1's. Please have them RSVP on their own. Thank You! What to know: - Bring your own tube or kayak or feel free to let us know if you need help coordinating a rental! - Free electric pump available at Steelhead—no need to inflate in advance - We will be floating from Steelhead Beach to Sunset Beach. It's 2 miles and will take about 4 hours. - Bring sunscreen, snacks, your favorite beverages and/or party favors to enjoy during the float - Parking is available at either Steelhead Beach or Sunset Beach ($12 fee) - Shuttle runs every 30 minutes between both lots ($5 per person) - Phone reception at russian river is weak and spotty. Carpooling is encouraged. If you can give a ride or need one, please fill out the carpool form. Come enjoy the sun, the water, and good company on this river day escape.
