Each month has a new vibe and a new chance to dress up, meet new friends, and enjoy the magic of a cozy outdoor movie under the stars ✨ 🌟 AUGUST THEME: Whimsical & Wild 💚 Movie Pick: Shrek (2001) 🧚‍♀️ Dress Code: Fairytale fun! Think Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Dragon, Lord Farquaad or any whimsical fantasy creature 💫 📍 EVENT DETAILS 🗓 Date: Saturday, August 16 🕠 Time: Arrive at 5:30 PM for potluck + mingling; movie starts around 7:15 PM 📍 Location: A private outdoor space in Huntington Beach – address shared in the group chat the day before 📽 Setup: 14-ft projector screen, cozy floor seating with blankets and pillows (bring your own!) 🍴 Food: Potluck style with fun swamp inspired treats (see ideas below!) 👗 Dress Up Prompt: Fantasy and fairytales, get creative and silly with it 🧙‍♂️✨ 🎁 Extras: Costume contest, Shrek trivia, themed photo booth with props 🧡 WHAT TO EXPECT You’ll arrive to a fairytale inspired outdoor setup with string lights, enchanted forest vibes, and silly swamp energy 💚 We'll kick off with a potluck dinner, photo ops, and Shrek themed trivia before we cozy up for the screening. Whether you come dressed as Donkey or in a crown and wings, this is your night to let your imagination run wild!
