๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—ฆ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜: We de-institutionalize knowledge sharing by giving in-depth talks from the comfort of a living room, amongst friends. Your friends know things. Big things. But how often do you listen intently as they go into detail about their specialty or passion? Do we need highfalutin conferences and 'networking' events or formal education to learn? No. Are professors, CEO's, and authors the only ones with knowledge to share? Nope. Can I learn about Botany, Music Theory, Social Justice, Communication, Performance Art, Astronomy, Psychology, and History from my friends? YES!!!! Living Room lectures is exactly that: lectures in a living room. There will be 3 speakers who each have 30 minutes to present including time for a Q&A to discuss as a group and learn together. **Have an idea for a lecture? Contact us through this FB page, or fill out this google form. You can also anonymously suggest a friend and we'll contact them! https://forms.gle/ZoR8FaAB4ejdXiLQ8 --------------------------------- ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป: 3828 North Haight Avenue, Portland, OR ๐—ฆ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐˜‚๐—น๐—ฒ: 6:00 - 7pm - Mingle and snack/drink 7 - 9pm - Lectures and discussion 9pm - Feel incredible and inspired ---------------------------------- ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ง๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜€: - Camellia Sinensis: Whatโ€™s the tea? - Nico Evers & Alex Yust This talk explores how tea moves from living leaf to shared cup.
