Join us for a ONE NIGHT ONLY art show at 85 West Street! ZDS Creative is incredibly excited to host chrōma, a pop-up exhibition featuring original work by Nermeen Ileiwat on August 28th from 6-9 pm. Stop by, grab a drink on us, browse the work & celebrate Nermeen's art before she leaves NYC. 

About the artist & show:

Nermeen Ileiwat is a painter of Palestinian and Syrian heritage, born and raised in New Jersey. Nermeen's work primarily explores acrylic painting and drawing, focusing on Greek mythical motifs. 

This show is about color—how it interacts, contrasts, and evokes emotion. Through the zodiac framework and symbolism present amongst ‘sister signs,’ vibrant, contrasting paintings explore how opposing tones can heighten each other’s impact. Color becomes a tool for storytelling, shifting perception through sensory, dimensional experience. Supporting paintings draw on Greek mythology and statuary to further investigate complementary and tertiary color relationships.
