Bear Necessities is bringing all things cozy and cuddly to JJC with fuzzy friends, warm brown tones, and plenty of sweet bear-inspired nostalgia. This theme is all about bears in every shape and style — from well-loved teddy bears and vintage storybook illustrations to woodland bears, honey pots, paw prints, bows, gingham, and cozy textures. Think chocolate browns, caramel, cream, tan, warm neutrals, and all the soft, comforting details that make you want to curl up with your favorite childhood teddy. We’ll be gathering at East Side in Denton for an evening of journaling, creativity, and hopefully some beautiful weather! We’ll be outside under a shaded patio table, so come ready to enjoy a relaxed evening of creating in the fresh air with friends. We’ll have themed scrap packs filled with bear-inspired ephemera, cozy papers, vintage details, warm neutral tones, and thoughtfully curated embellishments perfect for creating a spread that feels soft, nostalgic, and just a little cuddly. Grab a drink, bring your favorite supplies, settle in under the patio, and join us for the simple Bear Necessities of life — good friends, good drinks, and plenty of junk journaling.
