Forget the Tuesday crowds and the green dye. This year, we are celebrating a different saint, a day early, with zero alcohol and plenty of cats and plants. Come find your sanctuary at The Lion's Den Tea on Monday, March 16, the day before St. Patrick's Day. If y'all are looking for a way to celebrate that is centered around calm community and growth rather than chaos, this is the place to be. We are offering an extensive botanical tea menu to celebrate Saint Gertrude, the patron saint of cats and gardeners. Here is what to expect on Monday: Charity for the Kitties: All donations provided will be directed to Austin Pets Alive!. Bring a new cat toy or bag of food, and get 10% off your tea order. Seed Bomb Station: We’ll have all the supplies ready for y'all to make your own wildflower seed bombs to take home and plant in your garden. Leave the whiskey on 6th Street. Come join us on Monday for whiskers and wildflower planting instead. I can't wait to see y'all there.
