The Boardwalk Banshees rise from the fog once more to haunt San Francisco with their third annual Halloween Ball at The Lost Church! Blending reverb-drenched guitars, cinematic shadows, and a ghostly sense of theater, the Banshees conjure a sound that’s equal parts eerie and electric. Born from the dark side of surf rock, The Boardwalk Banshees craft haunted soundscapes that shimmer like moonlight on black water. Their live shows are immersive rituals—where pounding rhythms meet ghoulish melodies, and each song feels like a séance summoned from beneath the pier. This isn’t just surf music—it’s surf music possessed. Now a Halloween tradition, the band’s annual Ball has become a gathering ground for wayward spirits, costumed creatures, and anyone ready to dance with spirits. Past years have packed The Lost Church with a sea of revelers swaying to sinister twang and hypnotic grooves. This year promises an even deeper dive into the strange, the spectral, and the unknown. Join The Boardwalk Banshees for a night where the veil thins, the reverb howls, and the music lures you like a siren into the dark. Costumes encouraged—bravery required. https://www.instagram.com/boardwalkbanshees/ Los Duendes appear for one night only at The Lost Church, conjuring a gothic, acoustic reimagining of Queens of the Stone Age's Alive in the Catacombs. Joined by members of Oakland’s The Cat House and other kindred spirits, Los Duendes weave strings, shadows, and candlelit romance into a sound that feels both haunted and alive, like the fleeting mischief of the duendes of Latin folklore. https://www.instagram.com/thecathouseoakland/ Recommended If You Like: Nick Cave, Queens of the Stone Age, The Ventures
