Before the Jingle & Mingle Holiday Mixer officially begins, Calexit will host a special introduction to CALIFORNIA sovereignty exclusively for invited guests and those who RSVP.
This two-hour experience will take place in the EDITION’s beautiful upstairs restaurant and will give supporters, filmmakers, and community members a chance to connect, discuss, and explore the next steps for the movement.
Event Flow (5 PM – 7 PM)
From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Calexit RSVPs will enjoy:
A private, elevated space overlooking the venue
Direct conversation with leadership
Creative discussion about the movement
Insight into how Calexit will be the featured topic for filmmakers at upcoming FF48 events
Opportunities to ask questions, collaborate, and get involved
A strong networking atmosphere with advocates and creatives
This intimate gathering is designed to set the tone for what’s ahead in 2026 and strengthen relationships with high-level attendees before the main mixer begins.
Transition to Jingle & Mingle
At 8PM, all Calexit attendees will transition downstairs to join the full Film Faster 48 Holiday Mixer, merging both communities into one powerful, creative, and energized event.
This integration helps:
Introduce Calexit to the broader creative community
Seed early interest among filmmakers who will cover Calexit as their topic at the upcoming February FF48 Festival
Expand visibility for the initiative
Deepen engagement and support

This pre-event is exclusive to confirmed RSVPs and not open to general mixer attendees.
After 7 PM, everyone is invited to participate in the holiday festivities together.
