The Pottery Fair  is an artist-driven initiative, designed to offer an inclusive, affordable market centered on the NYC ceramic community. Our mission is to create an event where artists and enthusiasts can come together to showcase their work and find inspiration from fellow makers. 

Our inaugural fair will be held during Brooklyn Ceramic Arts Tour weekend on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Washington Park/J.J. Byrne Playground in coordination with The Old Stone House market space on 4th Street off 5th Avenue. As part of the tour the Fair will be on the BCAT website and map as an anchor event during Saturday’s festivities. We will also benefit from the promotion of the fair through BCAT’s social media channels. The Fair will include a curated selection of local ceramic artists, studios, suppliers, and clay-related vendors.

GIF IT UP (October 1 – 31) is an annual international competition to find the best gifs using public domain and openly licensed content from their collections, organized by the Europeana, DPLA, Trove, DigitalNZ, Japan Search, DAG Museums and the Art Institute in Chicago. All GIFs are available for reuse under CC BY-SA license.
