Come to my Chicago farewell!! 🗓️ June 7th, 12–4pm — Brunch & Bowl at Diversey River Bowl - I’m very likely leaving Chicago around August, and before everyone scatters for the summer, I want to bring together the people who were part of my chapter here to have fun and contribute to something meaningful. The event benefits Resilience (and is organized by them), a nonprofit that has been fundamental in my own healing journey. I can't think of a better way to leave this city than by giving back to a cause close to my heart. Your options to participate: 🟡 Team ticket — $40/person → Text me "I'm in!" by this Sunday, May 10th. Once we hit 6 people, I'll buy the team ticket and you Zelle me $40. What's included: 2 games of bowling + shoe rental + food + beer + non-alcoholic drinks 🍺🥤 I'm not benefiting from this at all. It’s purely uniting the útil ao agradável (an expression in Portuguese close to: making something good out of something good lol). I wanted to celebrate with my people, and the chance to tie it to something that matters just fell into my lap.
