If that quote feels a little too real, you’re in good company. Join us at The Studio’s Book Swap, where readers trade stacks instead of swiping credit cards. Bring all the books you’ve finished (and loved enough to pass along), set them out on the tables we’ll provide, and dive into someone else’s treasures.
While you’re swapping, stay for a beverage, share recommendations, and chat about your latest literary obsessions. Not ready to part with your copy of Pride and Prejudice? No problem—you’re not required to donate unless you choose to. Any books left behind at the end of the night will be given to the Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library nonprofit, so they’ll continue to spark joy in new hands.
