gluten free "pie&beer" day

˘▿˘celebrate pioneer day with a gluten free "pie&beer" day!
this free event is open to the public and family friendly. free feel to bring a pie or non alcoholic drink (due to it being in a public park) to share if you'd like. we'll have tables but bring any chairs or picnic blankets you'd like. there is also a playground and restrooms nearby.
📍location: Murray Park
our pavilion is on the east side of the park near parkside elementary school. you'll want to park in the east parking lot right off 5300 s.
🎟️ raffle tickets:
we'll be raffling off tickets to the gluten free expo! you must be present win. heres how to earn raffle tickets:
- RSVP for the event
- Bring a pie
- Bring a beverage
🥧 bringing a pie?
- complete the questionnaire when you RSVP
- bring the ingredient list and photos of ingredients you used
homemade pies:
to keep everyone safe we ask you only bring a homemade pie if your kitchen is celiac safe. if you'd like to chat about what that looks like i'm happy to answer any questions! we'll ask you provide additional details about your prep process and an ingredient list so hold onto your labels!
store bought pies:
we ask that any store bought pies have an ingredient label and the certified gluten free label OR be from a dedicated gluten free bakery (mrs. hewitt's, charlotte's and the avenues on 4th are great local ones!)
