SFUSD is presenting an update to the Board on the Mandarin Immersion TK–8, slated to open in fall 2027.
Come hear the latest on facilities, staffing, and programming — and remind the Board why this matters.
What to know:
• This is not a vote, but it is the ONLY scheduled Board touch point on the MI TK-8 before the formal vote in Aug/Sep
• Public comment is the first hour or so. Arrive by ~6:15 PM because speaker cards must be in by 6:30 PM. (~2 min at the mic)
• In-person public comment is prioritized. Virtual comments may be allowed if time permits
• Meetings go late, so feel free to leave after public comment and dial in on Zoom to follow along
• Zoom link will be provided
