‘The Quilted Table: Imagining Otherwise’— brings together Chicago artists, cultural workers, and community members for an intentional dinner centered on creativity, reflection, and collective visioning.
The evening features new work from
visual artist Andrea Coleman’s exhibition: ‘The Quilted Choir of Resistance’ and is accompanied by craft cocktails from Bayab Gin, delectable bites with Diaspora Chicago, facilitated conversation with FINDING IJEOMA, and immersive activations led by SUBlvl— all inspired by the artist’s creative process and questions concerning what yields a healthy artist ecosystem in the 21st century.
