PREREQUISITES: This is not a beginner Mahjong class. Players should already know the basics of American Mahjong gameplay and be comfortable with the flow of a game. This event is ideal for players who have completed Mahjong 101 and/or Mahjong 102, or who have recently learned to play American Mahjong and want additional practice. About the Event: Join us for a lively evening of American Mahjong, community play, and summer fun at our special Joker's Gone Wild Mahjong Social Night! Designed for mahjong enthusiasts who want more real-game experience in a welcoming, supportive environment, this event offers the perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills, build confidence, and connect with fellow players. Whether you learned through Kitsap Mahjong or elsewhere, you'll enjoy an evening focused on fun, practice, and community. Browse Mahjong merchandise, cards, mats, accessories, and beginner-friendly tools while spending time with other local players who share your passion for the game. Come play, connect, and let the Jokers run wild! What to Expect: • Event begins at 6:00pm. Players are welcome to arrive, order food and drinks, and settle in before gameplay begins at 6:30pm. One food/drink minimum through Pin Seeker. • American Mahjong community play and socialization with other mahjong enthusiasts • Supportive tables for newer players. Low-pressure, welcoming atmosphere • Light instructional guidance as needed. No formal class instruction • Opportunities to connect with other Mahjong enthusiasts Important Information: • Current NMJL Card Required. Players are welcome to bring other Mahjong cards, but gameplay will use the current NMJL card. • Individual registrations may be combined into shared tables • No gambling, betting, or wagering of any kind is permitted. Gameplay is for educational, recreational, and social purposes only. • No gambling • No outside food or drink permitted Registration Policy • If running later than 6:30pm, please text 833-481-8457 as tables may already be finalized • Due to limited seating and payment processing fees, registrations are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another player with at least 24+ hours notice. Please email events@kitsapmahjong.com if transferring your registration to another player. • If you register and the event is not the right fit for your experience level, your registration may be converted to class credit for a future beginner lesson or eligible Kitsap Mahjong event.
