End the year with one last MUSE jam! This time featuring MUSE/Maestra members of the Annie Tour who will be present to jam with us and also answer any questions about touring.
This will be our typical MUSE jam also open to Maestra members (and +1s who do not have to be eligible members of MUSE or Maestra)
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Everyone shows up with your instrument(s) or voices! (the studio will provide keys, amps, and drums—but not drum sticks).
2. Meet, greet, and snacks, and jam – covers, original songs, song-share, and open mic!
3. We will end with a Q&A with the touring musicians to give you some insight into life on the road!
You can come with an original song to share, any song you really love that you'd like to play as a group, or anything, or nothing at all! It's ~chill~
FAQ:
What is MUSE?
- MUSE is an organization committed to creating diversity within the music departments of the theatre industry by providing access, internships, mentorships, and support to historically marginalized people of color.
Are +1's welcome?
- Yes! Because space is limited, we do ask that you please limit your +1's to just one person :)
I'm a MUSE member, but I'm not a great instrumentalist–can I still come and just vibe?
- Of course! The purpose of this hangout is to meet each other! If you're a composer/lyricist type, feel free to connect with the other attendees beforehand and maybe you can collab to perform a song of yours!
Why is there a limit?
- Unfortunately, the studio only can seat so many people. Spots will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis...pls be sure to update your RSVP if you can no longer attend!
Any other questions? Reach out to Sydney Crutcher at sydney@museonline.org :)
