Calling all Black women who are curious, courageous, and down to try something new.
Black Girls Tri is about community over competition, joy over pressure, and showing up exactly as you are.
We’re coming together to form a squad of Black women to take on the Las Olas Triathlon on April 19th—whether it’s your first triathlon, your first race ever, or just your first time saying “why not me?”
This is a space to:
•Try something new in a supportive, no-judgment zone
•Train together (or cheer loudly from the sidelines)
•Build sisterhood, confidence, and collective power
•Prove that Black girls belong in every lane—pool, bike, and road
If you are interested in participating but want more information you can find that here: https://a1atriathlon.com/
To sign up for the race you can do so here: https://triregistration.com/reg2/Race.php?eventid=3623&promo=lows&_ga=2.66322156.313724679.1768865959-1406421707.1767138354
No experience required. No “athlete” label needed. Just a willingness to try, show up, and have fun.
My suggestion for first time triathletes is to sign up for the 1/4 or 1/2 Olympic race!
Come for the vibes, stay for the sisterhood, and leave knowing you did something bold.
We’re not here to be perfect. We’re here to TRI.
