Please join us in serene Brooklyn Heights in New York City for our third annual All-Day singing from the Christian Harmony (2010 Revision)! We'll be singing at Brooklyn Friends Meeting House, where we hosted our first Christian Harmony All Day in 2024. SCHEDULE: 9am: Registration begins 9:15am - 10:15am: Singing School: (Topic: An Introduction to Seven Shapes) 10:30am: Singing Begins ~12:45pm: Shared meal. We are planning to cater the main lunch, but all are welcome to bring breakfast, snacks, desserts, etc. ~4pm: Singing Concludes 4:30pm: Social at a nearby restaurant or bar, location tba ----------------------------------- All are welcome. No experience with singing from the Christian Harmony or shape note music is required. Loaner books will be available. And of course, please invite your friends! This singing is open to the public, no prior shape note or Christian Harmony experience required. Please do RSVP, either here or on Facebook, so we can get a sense of how many are joining us. Traveling singers: we look forward to hosting and singing with you! Please be in contact if you need help finding accommodations or making plans, or for any information about singing in New York City. If you're in town before or after the singing, we sing every Wednesday evening, and would always love to sing with you. Local singers: there are lots of things that go into putting on this shindig, and we'd love your help! There are things to do before the singing and day of!
