Please note this workshop is OPEN TO ALL—NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE about writing or art is necessary to attend.
A welcoming and relaxed creative space, this introductory art writing workshop, led by Salomé Gómez-Upegui, will begin with a brief exploration of the genre, highlighting how it allows us to perceive and engage with visual art in unexpected and meaningful ways.
Participants will then be guided through a series of creative writing prompts, encouraging active observation of the artworks on show in "5:59", and inviting them to reflect on the feelings, memories, and insights these pieces evoke. To conclude, attendees will have the option to share and discuss their writing with the group.
Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
