Join us Saturday afternoon for a reflective, rousing session about how to cultivate meaningful relationships with your neighbors.
The workshop will be led by seasoned organizer and facilitator Sierra Ramírez.
This workshop will cover how to form a buddy system to reach out to your neighbors, understand their needs, and rally others to collectively provide for each other. It will also cover the importance of cultural work in rallying people, like art and music.
Sierra is a full-time organizer living and leading collectively within the Woodner Tenants’ Union in DC’s largest apartment building. She leads the Direct Democracy Institute, a nonprofit offering workshops, classes, coaching, and healing services for organizers and advocates.
