Join us on May 17th from 1-3pm at the Ke-nee-go-keshek Fine Arts Workshop for a time capsule scrapbooking workshop with Alexis Osifo. Participants are invited to bring 10-20 photographs of fond memories from a specific moment in time, plus any ephemera of your choice (old business cards, postcards, concert/movie tickets, handwritten letters, etc.). Photographs and ephemera can be from childhood, a family vacation, a roadtrip, or of a loved one - anything you feel called to memorialize. The more personal items, the merrier for this project! NOTE: Bring items you're comfortable with altering, gluing, and cutting! You’ll have the opportunity to incorporate your new handmade paper from Katya’s papermaking demonstration (the day prior, May 16th) into this scrapbooking project. By the end of the workshop, participants will have created a mini scrapbook album to memorialize a moment in time. Capacity is limited to 10 participants, so be sure to RSVP! A $10-$20 suggested donation at the door helps the studio cover the cost of supplies. To enter the studio, buzz “Chashama” and head down the stairs to the left, through the set of double doors, and you’ll see the studio entrance on your left.
