Welcome to Corsetry 101: For Drag, Cosplay & Fashion!
This is a hands on workshop designed for makers, designers, and anyone curious about the art of corsetry.
In this lab, we’ll cover:
- Corset anatomy & terminology
- Four main differences in corset quality
- Learning by physically touching and analyzing garments
- Key hand sewing techniques
- What is corset flossing?
This is a beginner course, no advanced garment construction knowledge necessary! We aim to break down the essentials of modern corsetry in an approachable, beginner-friendly way.
All live demos are taught using your personal Lab Kit, a care package with all sewing and corsetry materials needed to sew corset bones and learn corset flossing. This kit will be $35, and all materials will be used in shop and meant to take home and use time and time again.
