the australian budget just came out.

and a lot of ambitious people walked away from it feeling a bit hopeless.

hopeless about housing.
about the cost of living.
about whether australia still feels like a place where ambitious people can build a meaningful life.

so instead of just doomscrolling it alone,
we wanted to create a space for people to come together and actually write to parliament 🇦🇺

Dear Australia is a night where founders, artists, researchers, students, and thoughtful humans come together to write letters to parliament about the future we want to live in.

not protests.
not politics-brained yelling.
just honest humans sitting together with paper and pens,
thinking carefully about the kind of country we want this place to become.

housing.
creation.
technology.
community.
cost of living.
culture.
hope.
the future.

i really believe countries are shaped by the people who still care enough to show up. you can just do things!

we’ll bring the letters, tea, music, snacks, and warm space.
you just bring your thoughts 🫶
