Virtual networking events often promise "meaningful connections" and then drop you into a random breakout where everyone's on mute. I'm a tech recruiter. I've been on both sides of this. I have a theory that hand-picking does better than random selections and this is the experiment to test out matching within a larger group.
Here's how it works:
> You RSVP with your LinkedIn URL and some basic information.
> You'll get 10 min in 2 different zoom breakout rooms. The 1st one random, the 2nd curated (for most of you).
> Then, I'll invite you to come back to the main room to share feedback.
