The last Friday of every month, we dig to the bottom of the crate. Vol. 002 — Friday, July 31.
New this month: the appetizer. An 8pm opening slot we're giving to up-and-coming talent to warm the room — a real set in a real room. First up: TuneTwin.
Then the courses, ninety minutes each: Vaver, guest digger Andre Leone, and lamar_z — records you've never heard, given the time to breathe. The scarpetta closes it out.
Upstairs at the Lava Lounge, above Edison's Pizza, Tremont. 8pm till late. Free — RSVP. Italian drinks at the bar, late-night slices.
