Please join us for the next BANTABA DRUM CALL taught by my good friend and Griot from Guinea West Africa MOHAMED KOYATE who comes from a family of players dating back many decades.

He will be teaching the history and techniques of the BALAPHONE, a wooden flat instrument with keys of different notes and pitches that easily reminds you of a piano. It is a percussion instrument similar to the Xylophone of Ghana and the Marimba of Southern Africa.

This will be a beginners class so no worries about what level you think you are as a Drummer or percussionist all are welcome and all BALAPHONES will be provided up to around eight so please RSVP and if you have one please bring it.

All are welcome no matter your level!
