ᵔᴥᵔAs warmth blossoms, various creatures awake from their winter slumbers. They begin to gather, creatures with legs in city squares and parks, the ones with wheels in empty lots and occupied streets. Spring marks the return of car meet season, the watering hole for four-wheeled socializing.
Wheels of NY, a community for enthusiasts, is hosting their first event of the year at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. As this event is ticketed, and the spirit of Karfari is one of accessibilty, we will begin the day with a classic stroll around a great neighbourhood for spotting, Clinton Hill. Those who wish to visit the car show can then join me at the Navy Yard to see a curation of interesting vehicles (like the black Lamborghini Countach in the event photo).
Below is a plan for the day. As always, come and go as you please, this is a casual gathering. Bring friends and fun!

11:30 am - Karfari around Clinton Hill

Imagine the blend of an architecture city walk and a wildlife safari, but with parked cars. That is Karfari, a community exercise and platform to discuss all aspects of the automobile, arguably the most definitive mass-produced object of modern times. Karfari is a car club for those who have complicated feelings about cars.
