Big mountains, strong mamas, and a full day in the backcountry. Calling all backcountry ski and splitboard moms—join us for a day touring in Paradise at Mount Rainier. This is an adults-only meetup designed to connect experienced adventure moms and spend time moving together in the mountains. We’ll tour from the Paradise Visitor Center toward Panorama Point (~3.8 miles / 1,300 ft gain), then decide as a group whether to explore further or enjoy lunch with a view before heading back. Expect a social pace, frequent regrouping, and plenty of time to take it all in. Important: This is not a guided tour. All participants should be experienced and comfortable with backcountry travel, including route finding and avalanche safety. What to bring: 🌲 Backcountry setup (skis or splitboard + skins/snowshoes) 🌲 Avalanche safety gear (beacon, shovel, probe) 🌲 Layers + sun protection (spring conditions!) 🌲 Snacks, lunch, water + a small treat to share 🌲 The 10 essentials We’ll coordinate a Park & Ride meetup for carpooling depending on locations.
