Remember what it was like to pay attention in the era before smartphones? More and more of us are yearning to experience this form of attention again. Select Sundays at 11am, come to HumorVille (164 Meserole St., Brooklyn) for an hourlong phonefree walk. We'll start at HumorVille with experiential exercises designed to unhook us from our conventional ways of paying attention. Then, we'll take an hourlong walk with no devices before returning to HumorVille to notice what has shifted. Free, donations accepted. If it rains we can still hang out at HumorVille and explore using our imaginations to disconnect from the digital matrix!
