Qawiya Queens ✨ حكايات قوية — Hikayat Qawiya (pronounced: he-kah-yaht qa-WEE-ya) This is Qawiya Collective’s narrative space — our stories, our voices, together. A place where we use words to help us move forward. No experience needed. No purpose required. No privilege expected. Just free to write. This is a space to write, witness one another, and weave our stories together. All paces. All levels. All ages. All writing styles. English, Arabic, Desi languages, or whatever language your heart reaches for in the moment. This space is centered on Muslim women and those who identify with and respect the Qawiya mission — if that resonates with you, you belong here. We’ll be hosting our first online narrative writing workshop on Zoom, and then gathering once a month moving forward. Sessions will range anywhere from 60–90 minutes, depending on the energy and engagement in the room. This is not about becoming a “better writer.” It’s about reflection, healing, and moving forward together — stronger than when we arrived. The space is sliding scale, with community spots available, and held as an amanah — something sacred, safe, and respected by all who enter.
