“Our world is shaped by the extreme, the unknown, and the improbable.”
Nassim Nicholas Taleb, The Black Swan (2007)
While many seek to avoid uncertainty, artists embrace it. Where others look for answers, they redefine boundaries and unlock new possibilities.
Drawing inspiration from these radical practices, Prof. Sylvain Bureau (ESCP, the world’s first business school, founded in Paris in 1819) and French visual artist Pierre Tectin developed the Art Thinking method—a transformative approach to problem-design.
Join us to explore artworks created by Stanford students who participated in the Improbable Seminar, where Art Thinking was put into practice to (re)examine the defining challenges of our era.
We look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable, improbable journey.
