Next week for my birthday I will be combining these, and I invite you to join me.
The the Chinese American Cafe in Jefferson (confirmation forthcoming) is a large space whose business is mostly takeout - think tri-fold, red menu where you have a good idea of what you may order before you walk in. I will collaborate with the owner to set up a table in the back with scissors, paper, and collage supplies.
I invite you and your kind friends to join in for mere minutes, or a couple hours.
👩🎨 If you have the time to, order a meal and make art with me.
🍚 If you don't have the vibes for making art, you can also just come and eat in the dining room.
💃 If you are too busy to hang, consider ordering takeout from there within these hours, say hello to us as you pick it up.
🌍 If you are out of delivery range, consider buying a round of snacks for the table remotely through their online menu.
Come ready to collage, or just soft enough to consider cutting out a few shapes to help someone else's work. We will not be doing any of the "hard stuff," like paint or permanent colors that could stain furniture, as we would like to eat here again.
