Twoubadou Night

At the heart of this evening is Twoubadou, one of Haiti’s most beloved folk traditions, music rooted in storytelling, intimacy, and the rhythms of everyday life. Its’ acoustic melodies and heartfelt lyrics capture the essence of community, resilience, and connection. By spotlighting this genre, our aim is to create an atmosphere that feels both timeless and fresh, honoring Haitian roots while bringing people together in the same way Twoubadou has for generations. Twoubadou Night is an intimate evening dedicated to celebrating the richness of Haitian identity and cultural pride. Inspired by the beloved Café Erzulie jazz nights, this gathering will center live Twoubadou music in a warm, communal setting where guests can connect, unwind, and immerse themselves in the beauty of Haitian tradition. We invite you to come experience storytelling, share space with friends and family through the bands Rasin Okan and Lòt Jan. With Care, Ayibobo The event is Free. Dice link will be sent.
