^⎵^You don't have to be looking. Most of the best engineers we've ever hired weren't.
The Inception Studio Startup Showcase puts six of our top founders on stage for 4 minutes each: what they're building, the hard technical problems in front of them, and where they need help. Then we all hang around and talk.
Come if you want to:
See what a set of serious early-stage teams are actually building, in technical detail, not landing-page language
Meet the founders directly, the people who make decisions, not their recruiters
Spend an evening around engineers whose taste you respect
Find your next thing, if something on stage grabs you
Send a friend who'd be perfect for one of these, which is honestly how a lot of great hires happen
Every company on stage is:
Pre-Series A, early enough that joining still means shaping the thing
Funded or generating real revenue, so it's a real company
Growing their engineering team right now
No recruiters. No résumé drop. No booths. Nobody chases you into the parking lot with a job description. Talk to whoever you want, or nobody, and go home.
Format: doors at 2:00, pitches at 2:30, then drinks and open conversation.
This event is a part of #SFTechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Learn more at www.tech-week.com.
