Since September 2025, Our Pathway Forward (OPF) has served children and families across multiple jurisdictions through impactful out-of-school-time programming, mentorship, and community engagement. OPF has also partnered with Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools) to support diversion efforts by mentoring students suspended from school and helping reduce recidivism through guidance, accountability, and positive community connection. The State of the Vision is an opportunity for community leaders, families, youth, and supporters to come together and hear what’s next for OPF. Shaped by stakeholder feedback, lived experiences, and the voices of the communities we serve, this presentation will unveil OPF’s vision, priorities, and strategic direction for creating transformative opportunities for young people and families. Founded by Eddie Hawkins, Jr., a former City Schools Board Member, Engagement Manager for the Mayor of Baltimore, Special Assistant to the Governor’s Chief of Staff, and youth mental health agency operations leader, OPF is built on more than a decade of mentoring, youth program management, community engagement, and advocacy experience focused on advancing outcomes for youth and families.
