CAH FY26 Arts and Humanities Fellowship Program (AHFP) Grantee María Fernanda will lead a free poetry writing workshop celebrating literary artists in Arizona.
We will read poems spanning from the 1970s to the 2020s by Black poets who are deepening discussions on community and collective power
across various desert communities in Arizona and the Sonoran Dessert.
Come ready to read poems and learn about literary traditions local to the region. Please bring a notebook and pen or pencil.
